Curtis the founder of Local Honey Man, was working alongside BAFTA award-winning presenter Maddie Moate to create a series with seven episodes, which takes four families from across the UK on different beekeeping adventures.

This new series focus on what we can all do to protect the bees, whilst also sustainably utilise the natural 🍯 they produce. Because bees are incredibly important to our environment, pollinating 80% of all British flowers and a third of all food we eat.

Curtis has a great enthusiasm to educate children about the wonderful world of beekeeping and the incredible world of bees. Teaching them the role that bees play in the food chain and touch on wider messages around the environment and conservation.

He is absolutely delighted to be joining the BBC channel and pass on his abilities to connect with children.
