Local Honey Man Gives Back

On the 8^th April, our Local Honey Man, Curtis hosted a workshop for a group of youngsters at our local store.

The aim was to give them a sweet taste of what is involved in producing, packaging and selling honey and to educate on the importance of bees in our environment.

During this fun workshop, there was a tour of the shop where they got to taste the variety of honey’s we have on offer, and they were shown how and where our beekeepers produce the honey, how its packaged and sent off to happy customers all over the UK.

To finish off the day, the kids had the opportunity to build their own frames which will be put into hives during the Summer for the bees to make honey on.
