Posted 2 years ago

Are you a young person looking for mentorship or work experience? Do you know a young person in need of a positive environment and role models to be around? If so, take a look at the Local Honey Man runner scheme it’s exactly what you are looking for.

Local Honey Man’s runner scheme supports young people by giving them the opportunity to work in a positive environment under the guidance and mentorship of the Local Honey Man team.

Available to those aged 13-16, we provide a safe space for these young people, helping them to stay out of trouble at a time that often proves to be one of the most crucial for young people in our community.

Generally working Monday to Friday, runners will experience life in a busy production warehouse, shop and working in a strong, supportive environment and picking up valuable life skills that will help them through school and beyond.

Runners don’t need to have an interest in becoming a beekeeper but, if they do, they’ll be at an advantage as they’ll have the opportunity to pick up tricks of the trade that’ll help them pursue a beekeeping career.

Runners will be paid a small nominal fee to cover travel and lunch.

Length: Varies.
