How To Use

The knife has a serrated blade that is used for removing the capping’s from the frames prior to placing them in the centrifuge extractor.  The action of the blade helps to cleanly slice through the capping’s with a smooth action.

Use the uncapping fork in a zigzag action pulling the cappings away from the honey comb before placing the frames in to your centrifuge.

Once you have extracted the honey from the frames use these settling tanks in conjunction with honey strainers. Simply put the honey strainers on the top of the settling tank and pour the honey in. You can then use the small honey gate/tap to easily decant the honey in to jars.

Nylon strainer, the two strainers fit inside one another and fits on top of a settling tank. Simply pour the honey through the two stainers.  By using both strainers, it is a very effective and efficient way to remove all the unwanted impurities before decanting your honey in to jars.

Top Tips
Always keep the equipment clean, wash with warm soapy water if/when required.
Put the settling tank on something to keep it off the ground as it will get heavy and may be difficult to lift. You also need a little height to get your jars under for filling.
