How To Use

The queen excluder is designed to be placed between the brood box and the super box.  The holes in the excluder are designed to allow the workers to pass through, but not the queen, resulting in the boxes above the excluder having perfect honey without any eggs being laid in it.

Top Tips

Depending on the size of your colony, it may be necessary to place the excluder above one of your supers.  Check if the brood box, if they frames are full of brood, consider giving them more room.
