Updated Policy - New Shipping Costs

We have recently agreed to new shipping prices with Royal Mail, an outline below of our charges:

Tracked 48 - within 48 hours

£6.32

1st Class Royal Mail - within 24 hours

£3.99

0 - 2kg = £5.49

2kg - 10kg = £7.19

2nd Class Royal Mail - within 2-3 days

£3.19

0 - 2kg = £4.69

2 - 10kg = £6.19

Goods supplied within the UK will normally be delivered within 3-5 working days of acceptance of order. Outside the UK within 14 days.

Where a specific delivery date has been agreed, and where this delivery date cannot be met, the Buyer will be notified and given the opportunity to agree a new delivery date or cancel the order.

The Seller shall use its reasonable endeavours to meet any date agreed for delivery. In any event, time of delivery shall not be of the essence, and the Seller shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the Buyer or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.

Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Buyer’s address specified in the order which must be the same address registered to the card tendered for payment. Under no circumstances will delivery be permitted to any other address. The Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.

Title and risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer upon delivery of the Goods.

The Seller shall not be liable for loss or damage to the goods after they have left our premises.

Claiming Compensation from Royal Mail

If your parcel is lost or damaged, you may be able to claim compensation from Royal Mail.

Eligibility

You can claim compensation from Royal Mail for items sent by First or Second-Class post.

Claim Time

You can claim for First Class post within 11 working days of posting, and for Second Class post within 14 working days.

Delivery of Bees – Direct Bees Ltd t/a Local Honey Man does not accept risk or liability for the transport and delivery of colonies of honeybees once they have left our building, all colonies are checked prior to dispatch and approved for travel. The bees are dispatched with Royal Mail Special delivery before 1pm signed for but we do recommend a way to transport them is to collect them personally. Upon paying the remaining balance you agree that you have read and understood and agreed to the following statement.
