We have for sale good-tempered and productive honey bees on 5 National frames. Our queens are either Buckfast or raised locally from selected stocks.

Local Honey Man bees arrive with a mated honey bee queen, bees, frames of brood in all stages – eggs, open larvae, and sealed larvae – and stores of pollen and honey. The bees travel in two lightweight transit boxes which will be useful for collecting future swarms.

Supply is dependent on Spring colony development and the weather. Please bear in mind that honey bees are livestock and that delivery/collection is variable. We will update you regularly regarding a delivery date.

At Local Honey Man we aim to supply overwintered 2025 honey bee colonies as well as 2026 colonies later in the season. Overwintered honey bees will give you productive colonies early in the season, and are ideal for starting out in beekeeping or if you’re looking to expand. Bees will be available from Spring 2026, depending on the weather.
