This is a high quality item is now made using a thicker plywood of 5mm. All joints are waterproof PVA glued and then clamped to ensure no leaks.
Holds approximately 1.5lt of sugar water/syrup
The frame feeder comes with a small piece of wood that acts as a float to prevent any bees from drowning.
How To Use
Remove one of the frames from your hive and replace with the frame feeder. Add the sugar water to the feeder and you’re ready to go. (1kg bag of sugar to 1lt of warm water is my preferred mix).
Top Tips
Use sugar water which can be made up of 50% water and 50% sugar. I use lukewarm water to help dissolve the sugar in clean, empty fizzy drinks bottles (1.5l), they make great shakers and can be transported to the hives easily.
